As a life-long Libertarian and ...Well done, George. As a life-long Libertarian and Ayn Rand admirer, I find myself at age 69 becoming totally intrigued by the notion of Anarcho Capitalism. Why, someone might ask? Two reasons: first, there is ample evidence that even in a relatively free country like the US, the mishandling of economic issues and many other actions (drug wars, foreign wars, torture, etc.) provide ample evidence that a powerful state is not the answer.
